The world is different enough from the original game that there’s plenty of new lore for even veteran RS players.Ĭrafting and skills I’ve kept within the realm of 5th editions mechanics. I’m running two games at the moment, one with Runescape players and another with newbies.
I make an effort to include all original characters in the game when I can with a ton of custom NPCs. Monster stat blocks are almost exclusively from D&D (we’re playing in 5th edition but I’ll pull stuff from other editions when it works). Locations have remained mostly the same, with a lot of custom/fan made content pulled in to fill out some of the empty space. I’ve been using LegendKeeper to keep track of all the little world building details.
